Green Scholarship
You may be awarded the Green Scholarship based on your undergraduate application materials. A separate scholarship application is not needed.
Award for Incoming Freshmen - Fall 2013
- The Green Scholarship is $3,000 per year for four consecutive years, for a total of $12,000.
This scholarship award is available for students who meet the following criteria.

Completed WSU admissions application with all documents received in Admissions by Friday, February 15, 2013.

Minimum junior year high school grade point average of 3.50 and a minimum ACT score of 25

You must be a citizen of the United States or have permanent resident status.

If you are offered an award, you must accept it by May 1, 2013.
To Maintain your Award
You must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours for fall and winter semesters, and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.00.
Full-time enrollment is 12 credit hours or more.
If you earn a bachelor's degree in less than four years, your scholarship terminates at that time.
Wayne State University offers and renews scholarships at its sole and absolute discretion; offers and renewals are contingent upon available funding and the continuation of the scholarship program. WSU students can receive only one Presidential Program scholarship. These include the University, Presidential, Gold, Green, Anthony Wayne and the WSU/DSO scholarships. Students who have completed a bachelor's degree are not eligible for Presidential Program scholarships. Changes to a student's financial, housing or academic situation may result in adjustments to awards.
