Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf

Scholarships are awarded to pre-lingual deaf or hard-of-hearing students who use speech and speech-reading to communicate, and who are attending or have been admitted to a college or university program that primarily enrolls students with normal hearing.

Automotive Women’s Alliance Foundation

Annually awards several $2,500 scholarships to women who are pursuing careers directly related to the automotive industry such as engineering, marketing, sales, and finance. The Gates Millennium Scholars Program

Administered by the United Negro College Fund, the program provides scholarships and fellowships for outstanding low-income African American, Native American, Hispanic American, and Asian American students to attend the undergraduate and graduate institutions of their choice.

The Imagine Fund

The Imagine Fund will award multiple scholarships from three sources to academically qualified and economically challenged Black and Latino students who are enrolled in at least 12 credit hours at junior or senior status by institutional definition. Applicants must meet additional criteria, i.e., specific major and have graduated high school from specific city or county. Committed to inclusion and equity on Michigan college campuses, The Imagine Fund awards its own funds as well as those from donors who are similarly committed to diversity.

This scholarship program is a component of the Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan. Applicants must be single mothers who are residents of Wayne, Oakland or Macomb counties and attend or will attend Wayne State University, any campus of the University of Michigan, or Catholic University Law School in Washington, D.C. The Talbots Scholarship Foundation and the Nancy Talbot Scholarship Award for perseverance and ingenuity, which is presented in memory of the founder of Talbots. This program empowers women to enrich themselves through learning and achieve a college education later in life. The Talbots Scholarship Foundation will award $180,000 in college scholarships, including up to ten (10) $15,000 scholarships and one (1) $30,000 scholarship to an extraordinary finalist demonstrating courage, conviction and an insatiable entrepreneurial spirit.
